We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023 Golden Tickets, brought to you by Portsmouth On Ice.

A small number of Golden Tickets are being hidden around the city and we have teamed up with some incredible local businesses to offer some exciting giveaways.

If you are the lucky finder of one of these exclusive Golden Tickets, you have won an amazing prize!  Wahoo!  Your prize can be redeemed right here in the vibrant city of Portsmouth, the place to be in 2023.

Below you can find out all the information you’ll need to know about claiming your prize, and relevant Terms and Conditions.

Remember, if you’ve won, proof of your Golden Ticket will be required for verification, so make sure to keep it safe!

What do I do if I’ve found a ticket?

Well, first of all, CONGRATS!

This is your golden chance to claim an extraordinary reward and experience the best that Portsmouth has to offer.

First thing’s first, email marketing@portsmouthiceskating.uk with a photograph of you and your Golden Ticket and tell us where and when you found it.  We’ll let you know what you’ve won and send further instructions on how to redeem your prize.  Please note, we will only accept winning Golden Tickets to be redeemed via email, not via phone or any of our social media accounts.

What prizes could I win?

We have a host of prizes ranging from tickets and events to experiences and FOOD!  They include: 

• D Day Museum

  A family ticket (two adults and up to three children) to visit the DDay Museum.

• Groundlings Theatre

  A voucher for 2 tickets to “Puss in Boots” panto with a mulled wine and mince pie each. The panto runs from the 7th-31st of December with various times available.

• Hover Travel

  A voucher for 4 x people to travel to and from the Isle of Wight via Hover Travel, and skate!

• Kings Theatre

  A family ticket (for 4 people) to the press night of King’s Theatre panto (Hook) – taking place on Monday 4th December 2023.

• Natty’s Jerk Chicken

  A £30 food voucher.

• New Theatre Royal

  A family ticket to New Theatre Royal’s This year’s GENIE-US Panto, Aladdin (off peak shows only)

• Pizza Rebellion Portsmouth

  One lip smackingly good pizza from Pizza Rebellion, located opposite Portsmouth and Southsea train station!

• Portsmouth Guildhall

  4 x tickets to Rapunzel, the Tangled Panto, for any showing on 19, 20, 21, 22 or 26th Dec (subject to availability).

• Spinnaker Tower

  Tickets to Santa’s Toy Making Workshop at the Spinnaker Tower for 2 adults and 2 children.

• Portsmouth On Ice 

Ice skating tickets – funnily enough!  (From family tickets (3+1 or 2+2) or vouchers for 2 x adult tickets depending on the Golden Ticket number found.  Read up on the full Golden Ticket Competition T&Cs. 

Where can I find the Golden Tickets?  And when?

The Golden Tickets (which are each individually numbered), will be hidden in various places around the city:

November

• Sunday 26th 

• • At Portsmouth On Ice (as above)
  • In a Pizza Rebellion PIzza box!  (From Sunday 26th onwards)

December

• Friday 1st 

• • At the opening night of King’s Theatre’s infamous panto.  “It’s behind you!” (or is it?!)

• Saturday 2nd 

• • Somewhere inside the museum galleries of the DDay Museum – best keep your eyes peeled!
  • Somewhere inside the Spinnaker Tower, but who knows where?!
  • At Portsmouth On Ice (hint – check your boots before you put them on – you might be lucky!)

• Sunday 3rd

• • At Portsmouth On Ice (as above)
  • At Hover Travel’s Ryde Terminal

• Monday 4th 
  • In the Guildhall’s cafe between 10:00 – 15:00, and if not found on this date  10:00 – 15:00  Monday to Friday thereafter.

• Friday 8th 

• • At the opening night of New Theatre Royal’s panto – this year Aladdin.  Be sure to look under your seat…

• Thursday 14th 

• • Somewhere at the Groundlings Theatre.  But who knows where, you’ll have to look hard!
