Golden Ticket Terms and Conditions (Winter 2023)

Please note, these terms should be read alongside the general terms and conditions relating to any of the experiences/prizes redeemed as a part of this competition.  I.e. for winners of ice skating tickets at Portsmouth On Ice, the Portsmouth On Ice T’s and C’s will apply.

1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and be residents of the UK.  If a Golden Ticket is found by someone under the age of 18, their legal guardian is responsible for claiming the prize.
2. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of the companies that are providing prizes, nor their immediate families.
3. There will be one prize winner per Golden Ticket, who will win the prize that corresponds to the number on the ticket that they have found.  Please note accommodation and travel is not included in any part of the prize and winners will need to make their own way to and from the location at which the experience or prize is to be used or redeemed.
4. If the Golden Ticket relates to an event or experience, please note that this is subject to availability.  If the experience can only be redeemed on a certain date or time, this will be stated.  If the winner cannot attend on this set date, then the prize cannot be transferred to another date.  
5. Portsmouth On Ice reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. No cash alternative will be offered. All prizes are non-transferable.
6. Portsmouth On Ice’s decision is final.
7. By engaging in this Golden Ticket campaign, entrants consent to the use of their names, city or county of residence, photograph and/or image for publicity purposes in all media carried out by Portsmouth On Ice and other companies participating in this campaign (and in the case of there being more than one, each of them) without payment or compensation.
8. Portsmouth On Ice may terminate, amend or withdraw this prize draw and/or these terms and conditions at any time.
9. Portsmouth On Ice assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries nor for any entries that fail to be submitted for any technical reason whatsoever. 
10. Portsmouth On Ice accepts no responsibility for contacting entrants or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information nor for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed. 
11. Winners who have found a Golden Ticket must contact marketing@portsmouthiceskating.uk in the first instance, with a photograph of them and their ticket that proves they are the genuine winner.  Further instructions will then be provided on how to redeem the prize.
12. Multiple entries from a single source will be disqualified and the Golden Tickets re-hidden at a later date.
13. Entry to this campaign is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are governed by English Law.

Individual Prize Terms and Conditions (Winter 2023)

• D Day Museum

A family ticket (two adults and up to three children) to visit the DDay museum. 

Tickets are valid to visit within a year on any date and time with the exception of the following dates 24th, 25th, 26th Dec, 27th Jan, 23rd, 24th, 25th Aug, 11th Nov. 

• Groundlings Theatre

A voucher for 2 tickets to “Puss in Boots” panto with a mulled wine and mince pie each. The panto runs from the 7th-31st of December with various times available. 

The ticket is only valid for redemption against our 2023 Panto, Puss in Boots and must be redeemed by the final show at 3pm on the 31st of December. In line with licensing laws, should someone under the age of 18 be the winner of this ticket, they will be offered a soft drink alternative to mulled wine. Please be aware our auditorium where our shows take place is up a single flight of stairs. Due to the nature of our building, we don’t currently have lift access to this room.

• Hover Travel

A family ticket (for 4 people) to travel to and from the Isle of Wight and to skate.  Tickets for travel and skating must be redeemed as a package and therefore on the same day.

• Kings Theatre

A family ticket (for 4 people) to the press night of King’s Theatre panto (Hook) – taking place on Monday 4th December 2023. 

There must be at least 2 children under the age of 15 in the party. Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Natty’s Jerk Chicken

A £30 voucher for dining in or collection at Natty’s Jerk Chicken.  

The voucher expires 31st January 2024. The voucher is physical and can be collected

from the shack.  Instructions will be provided to the winner.

• New Theatre Royal

A family ticket to New Theatre Royal’s This year’s GENIE-US Panto, Aladdin (off peak shows only.)

This ticket is available for one off-peak performance only, and this is subject to availability. Once the winner has been in contact they will be booked in for an applicable show.

• Pizza Rebellion Portsmouth

One lip smackingly good pizza from Pizza Rebellion, located opposite Portsmouth and Southsea train station! 

To be redeemed no later than 7th January 2024.

• Portsmouth Guildhall

4 x tickets to Rapunzel, the Tangled Panto, for any showing on 19, 20, 21, 22 or 26th Dec (subject to availability)

Show tickets are subject to availability. Tickets cannot be transferred and are non refundable.  

• Spinnaker Tower

Tickets to Santa’s Toy Making Workshop at the Spinnaker Tower for 2 adults and 2 children.

To be redeemed on either 9th or 10th December 2023. Full terms & Conditions available at https://www.spinnakertower.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/ Prize available on selected dates in December 2023 Prize is for 2 adults & 2 children, additional tickets can be purchased at full price subject to availability. No cash alternative available The Santa Experience lasts for a minimum of 45 minutes, excluding visit to the attraction. The event takes place outside on the podium level in cabins, please dress appropriately for the weather, Christmas jumpers are a must! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the experience.)

• Portsmouth On Ice

Ice skating ticket vouchers (from family tickets (3+1 or 2+2) and for 2 x adult tickets depending on the Golden Ticket number found.

Can be redeemed for any skating session up and until Sunday 7th January 2024 when the rink closes for the year.  Sessions will be booked based on the winner’s preference, but are subject to availability so cannot be guaranteed.  Dates excluded are all sessions on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Skate aids are excluded but can be purchased directly by the winner if required at a rate of £5 each.  (Again these are subject to availability.)
